Underworldとの撮影

一つ夢が叶った。ずっと憧れていたUnderworldのKarl Hydeと仕事させて頂いた。
彼らの音楽が好きでいちファンになり、ライブが見たくて見たくて、ようやく2007年にハリウッドで初めてライブ見れた時はそれだけでブチ上がり、夢の中にいるようだった。
それから「いつか彼らと仕事出来るようになりたい」って夢を書き留めていたノートに記していた。
それから10年くらいしてようやくこの日が訪れた。
あの日ハリウッドのライブでは15,000人のオーディエンスの一番後ろの席から、遠くステージで歌う彼を見つめていた。そんなスターが今日東京の小さな部屋に入って来た時には胸はすごく高鳴っていた。
1日一緒に撮影していて、幸せだった。
今回の仕事では僕はあまり大そうなことはできてないので偉そうなことは言えないんだけど、でもやっぱりこれからも夢は胸に秘めて頑張って行きたいなって再確認した夜でした。今日の機会をくれた皆様に感謝です。ありがとう。

One of my dreams came true today. I had a chance to film Karl Hyde from Underworld, which I’ve been a fan of for a long time. I was in a dream when I went to see their concert at Hollywood Bowl in 2007. I wrote “I wanna work with them one day” in my note book.
Almost a decade later, it happened.
I was all the way back at the concert place with 15,000 audience at that night, and today this star just showed up right in front of me in the small gallery in Tokyo. He remembered that show. My heart was beating fast.
I am the happiest man today.
